Angels of Hope was founded when my family & i decided to do our 67 minutes of volunteer work at Red Cross Oncology Unit in 2010. We had just recently joined Cansa Relay for Life in Mitchell’s Plain , after my father passed on of Leukemia . Meeting children with Childhood Cancer had a touching effect on all our lives . As we handed out soft toys & party packs to the children & then i met a very brave 11 year old girl … she was leaving the next week after completing her treatment. I really did not know what more i could sy to encourage her,.. i took off my armband that said ” HOPE & LIFE” . I just could not forget meeting Neshay Payne (may you rest in peace) . We went there to bring a smile to children with cancer, but walked out of there with so much more !!! .Her little sister Hope was her match … thus the name . Angels of Hope . Bringing Hope to all ..
